Our "Spirit Cats"
We KNOW you love cats and perhaps would LOVE to welcome another one onto your family if you could, but sometimes we just can't take in yet another one, right? But alas, it CAN be done! (kinda, sorta).
Below are our cats to be adopted.... in spirit only. But HOW, you ask? You choose one of our cats below to virtually adopt by sending us a recurring monthly donation of at least $25 that will go toward your Spirit Cat's ongoing care. In return, we'll occasionally post photos and video updates to our new Spirit Cats page on our website so that you may continue seeing the positive impact your generous spirit has on your spirit cat.

Harriette
Harriette is a recent rescue of ours who is senior (10+), mostly blind, and has old injury trauma to her right hind knee and spine making it challenging for her to get around. She requires lifelong monthly pain management for three fused spinal disks and her poorly healed knee injury.
Due to Harriette's blindness and monthly pain management requirements, she will live out the rest of her days in peace and comfort inside Lisa's loving home. She is a sweet and brave soul, and the other rescued house cats have come to "welcome" her.
Majesty
Majesty is a "majestic" black cat with gorgeous yellow eyes. She is the last surviving member of one of the many cat colonies our founder had been caring that resided along Coyote Creek in San Jose, CA.
We estimate that Majesty is approximately 10 years old now. She's a sweet, affectionate, and soft spoken old gal, and gets along well with our other sanctuary cats, as well as our cat caretaker volunteers.

Snowden
Snowden is a handsome medium haired pure white cat with amber eyes and is approximately 11 years old. He's never "met a stranger" as he's friendly, funny, outgoing, and quite intelligent.
Snowden is completely deaf but doesn't let that stop him from making his best life at our sanctuary. This cuddle bug is our unofficial sanctuary mascot and will happily learn new tricks for treats.
Emily
Emily is a gorgeous tuxedo gal who was unfortuntely abandoned, along with a dozen other young "feral" cats, by the folks who owned our sanctuary property before we purchased it in 2017. (Lucky for these poor cats, the new property owner purchased it to start up a rescued cat sanctuary!) We believe she is now approx. 8 years old.
Emily is cautiously friendly and will occasionally ask for pets from our founder and volunteer caretakers. She doesn't care much to be held, but she does LOVE to be brushed.

Cheeto
Cheeto is a handsome orange tabby boy who showed up to our sanctuary very hungry and begging to be let inside the house, so we knew he was either lost, or abandoned. We soon learned that he was flat out "kicked to the curb" by our uncaring neighbours soon after they brought home a female kitten.
Cheeto is super outgoing and friendly, but we knew he wasn't very happy living outside in our sanctuary. Unfortunately, he soon suffered a major knee injury that required an expensive repair surgery and 8 weeks of recovery living in a large cage in our founder's home.
Cheeto has fully recovered and is now enjoying life as an indoor cat, receiving the love and attention he so craves and deserves.
